Description

You will orchestrate the end-to-end software release lifecycle for cloud products on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Manage release activities, ensuring adherence to quality gates, security policies, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release retrospectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate release risks while developing contingency plans for successful deployments.
• Drive communication across development, QA, operations, and product teams to align on schedules and dependencies.

Required Skills

• 15-20 years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, or related technical roles.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native engineering using FaaS, PaaS, and microservices on AWS.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Proficiency with enterprise management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Deep understanding of branching strategies, deployment methodologies, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience managing release documentation, including deployment plans and rollback procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with code quality tools like SonarQube.
