Description

Lead the architectural design and development of Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design relational databases and optimize performance for high-scale environments.
• Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation to communicate design decisions.
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices and maintain high unit test coverage.
• Manage infrastructure using AWS services and Docker containerization.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing Ruby on Rails applications.
• Strong expertise in relational database design and optimization.
• Proficiency with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
