Description

You will lead the design and implementation of microservices using Scala and Akka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver technical tasks and deliverables within established schedules.
• Recommend and implement technical solutions for complex system requirements.
• Identify and report technical issues or blockers to management.
• Facilitate a supportive team environment by removing resource or bureaucratic barriers.
• Work hands-on to drive development processes.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of recent hands-on development experience in Scala and Akka Framework.
• Deep understanding of Akka Streams and Event-driven Microservices Architecture.
• Experience designing and developing Microservices using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure and configuration tools including Ansible, Terraform, Jira, and Confluence.
• Practical knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python and integrating third-party applications.
• Background in Financial Industry or Core Banking integration.
