You will lead technical vision and end-to-end solution design on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GCP solutions covering data ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns.
• Manage deployment packaging, testing, implementation, and environment administration.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deliver releases using repeatable and auditable processes.
• Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, and backup/restore.
• Automate and standardize deployment processes while improving testing efficiency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Agile software development with technical leadership.
• Hands-on development experience with Scala and Spark.
• Strong background in Core Java development.
• Experience designing solutions on Google Cloud Platform using GCS, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Expertise with various ETL technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of legacy database migration to cloud using big data, data warehousing, NoSQL, and distributed caching.
• Experience with unit testing and supporting other testing phases.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the securities or financial services industries.
