Description

Lead security analysis for the design, implementation, and monitoring of computer platforms, network servers, storage, and application architectures. This role requires owning the full lifecycle of security initiatives from vendor evaluation to incident response.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Research vendor offerings and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new security technologies.
• Coordinate with technical teams to implement new technologies and remediate identified security issues.
• Monitor asset inventory, installed agents, device status, and content filter dashboards.
• Process incident response queues, investigate SIEM logs, and monitor data inventories for policy violations.
• Manage endpoint firewall operations and adjust configurations as necessary.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in an IT professional domain.
• 5+ years of dedicated IT Security experience.
• 4+ years in project leadership roles.
• 4+ years evaluating and implementing third-party vendor security offerings.
• Experience with risk analysis, control planning, policy development, and compliance monitoring.
• Must be a current Wisconsin resident.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP or equivalent certification with 1+ year of experience.
