Description

Lead the design and development of high-performance microservices and event-driven systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, caching, and concurrency management.
• Collaborate with data engineers and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end system performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with event-driven systems and message brokers (Kafka).
• Proficiency in SQL and database query writing.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of software testing and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cosmos DB.
