Description

Lead backend Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online development, owning integration with AvePoint Cloud Governance and PoolParty Taxonomy Management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SPFx Web Parts and Extensions, focusing on backend services and internal API consumption.
• Architect and secure complex APIs using Microsoft Graph for data manipulation, permission management, and content operations.
• Configure AvePoint Cloud Governance policies to automate post-provisioning steps, including SharePoint library connections to the PoolParty Term Store.
• Implement custom search-driven UIs and page templates using Microsoft Search backend configuration and managed properties.
• Script M365 administration and deployment tasks using PowerShell and PnP PowerShell.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in Microsoft ecosystem development, with 3+ years focused on SharePoint/M365 backend integrations.
• Expert proficiency in SPFx, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Proven experience with AvePoint Cloud Governance configuration and extension.
• Demonstrable experience integrating with PoolParty Taxonomy Management and SharePoint Term Store.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise search integration and metadata management.
• Expertise in data modeling, security, and zero-trust principles within M365.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing complex system integrations and APIs.
• Ability to lead design work and implement customizable page templates.
