Description

Lead the design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and performant systems. Drive automation initiatives to improve reliability and reduce manual operations. Establish and enforce SRE best practices, standards, and operational processes. Mentor junior engineers and lead SRE initiatives across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance monitoring, observability, and performance.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
• 1–2 years of leadership or mentoring experience.
• Cloud Platforms: Azure (primary), AWS.
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, or Mesos.
• Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
• Systems: Linux, Java, Spark.
• Databases: SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Machine Learning platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures.
• Additional networking concepts (VPC, DNS, API Gateway, CDN, WAF).
