Description

Lead system operational stability and drive automation to eliminate manual toil. You will own the release and monitoring pipeline, ensuring infrastructure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and infrastructure to maintain performance and operational stability.
• Build automation scripts to manage operations and minimize manual functions.
• Analyze metrics and system logs for performance tuning and fault finding.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in technical and management roles.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Linux and Windows administration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• Scripting proficiency using PowerShell and Bash.
• Experience with middleware including WebSphere, Apache, IIS, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Storage administration involving CIFS/NFS, Avamar, and Data Domain.
• Converged solutions experience with VCE/UCP and VMware versions 6 and above.
• ITSM proficiency with ITIL fundamentals (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Experience using ServiceNow, TrueSight, Jira, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Mainframe knowledge including JCJ and CICP SYSPLEX.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and the OSI Model.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies for operations analytics.
