You will lead efforts to maintain and enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident management efforts, providing expert-level support during outages and driving post-incident reviews to improve system resilience.
• Design, implement, and optimize monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to proactively address issues.
• Drive the automation of manual processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce human error.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins to ensure reliable deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and functional programming languages including Prolog, Haskell, and OCaml.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Portworx storage solutions.
• Strong command of Linux/Unix systems and Shell Scripting (BASH).
• Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation tasks.
• Expertise in streaming architectures using Kafka Stream Generator, KSQLDB, cluster federation, and Spark Streams.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware and virtualization platform optimization.
• Experience with service meshes such as Istio and Anthos Service Mesh.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in performance monitoring and debugging using eBPF.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, and Kiali.
