Own the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems using a software engineering approach to infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and support automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and Shell for infrastructure deployment, validation, and monitoring.
• Schedule monitoring tasks using Cron and Airflow to ensure system health.
• Manage system monitoring through Dynatrace, Apica, and Grafana.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient release processes.
• Handle incident management and problem resolution to minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for automation and scripting.
• Extensive experience with Linux distributions including RHEL and CentOS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and container orchestration, including Kubernetes and Rancher.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Apica, and Grafana.
• Competency in database management involving both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Linux filesystems, utilities, and shell scripting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with storage management, specifically NetApp ONTAP, including volumes, aggregates, backups, and DR planning.
