Description

You define and implement SRE practices for enterprise-scale systems built on Snowflake, ensuring reliability, performance, and operational automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure for Snowflake pipelines and compute clusters.
• Develop observability frameworks to monitor Snowflake performance, manage costs, and optimize queries.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability standards into Snowflake schema design and CI/CD deployments.
• Drive incident management, performing root-cause analysis and implementing systemic remediation for Snowflake issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SRE or production engineering experience supporting large-scale, cloud-based systems.
• Strong operational experience with Snowflake, including workload monitoring, warehouse sizing, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud engineering and distributed systems.
• Expertise in automation, observability tooling, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering workflows.
• Bachelor's degree.
