Description

You will provide technical leadership to ensure the reliability and scalability of cloud-based applications on GCP.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant systems on GCP with cross-functional teams.
• Define and monitor SLIs and SLOs, manage error budgets, and drive reliability improvements.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews, implementing corrective actions.
• Design and implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for GCP resource management.
• Perform capacity planning and set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining production applications on GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking).
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
