Description

You will lead the administration, design, and optimization of the Snowflake data environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Snowflake data models, schemas, and databases to meet business requirements.
• Manage account, security, system, and user administration, including governance and standards.
• Execute disaster recovery setups, backup processes, and continuous monitoring.
• Optimize query performance and manage Snowflake cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Snowflake vendors for maintenance and new feature implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and management.
• Proven expertise with Snowflake and SQL.
• Deep understanding of database design and schema implementation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, specifically AWS.
• Strong experience in performance optimization and query tuning.
• Ability to handle security administration and governance protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing cost optimization and resource effectiveness.
• Leadership experience managing clients and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
