Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of Snowflake environments on Azure. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake warehouses on Azure, managing resource allocation, scaling, and concurrency.
• Configure Virtual Private Snowflake (VPS) settings, network policies, and user access controls.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage SCIM and Active Directory group replication.
• Provision data transfers from Azure BLOB to Raw, Conformed, and Model layers.
• Monitor credit usage, optimize query performance, and execute capacity planning and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Snowflake administration.
• Expertise in SQL and Snowflake warehouse management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure BLOB storage and data movement.
• Proficiency with GitHub and Jenkins for CI/CD and version control.
• Experience configuring Snowflake network policies and data sharing.
• Ability to build technical design documents and manage auditing and compliance.
• Experience with backup, restore, and DR management.
