Description

You will design, implement, and manage Snowflake warehouses on Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake warehouses on Azure, managing resource allocation, scaling, and concurrency.
• Manage user access through role management, network policies, and Virtual Private Snowflake (VPS) configuration.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage SCIM replication of AD Groups.
• Execute data transfers from Azure Blob to Raw, Conformed, and Model layers.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complex data environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data administration or related roles.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments and Azure Blob storage.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with troubleshooting complex data environments.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure data engineering pipelines.
