Description

You will lead the design and maintenance of large-scale data pipelines and cloud data warehouse architectures, managing a team of 1-6 onsite and offshore engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead data warehouse development activities and manage multiple parallel projects.
• Assign development tasks to a team of 1-6 engineers and act as a subject-matter expert.
• Design and build large-scale datasets to meet diverse consumer requirements.
• Manage existing pipelines to ensure data accuracy and readiness for analytical consumption.
• Provide application support through an on-call rotation to resolve outages and user inquiries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise as a Snowflake Data Engineer.
• Proven ability to lead data warehouse development for onsite and offshore teams.
• Experience designing pipelines that load millions of transformed records into cloud warehouses.
• Ability to determine optimal technologies for specific project objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and escalate issues to leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading distributed engineering teams.
• Strong background in cloud data warehousing architectures.
