Description

Define and drive overall system architecture for scalable, distributed applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design microservices using Java or Kotlin with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Guide full-stack architecture using TypeScript with React or Angular.
• Define API architecture, contracts, and integration patterns to ensure reliable end-to-end behavior.
• Review system designs and conduct architectural code reviews to set governance standards.
• Mentor engineers and enforce quality standards across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and system architecture.
• Expertise in system design for scalable, distributed systems.
• Strong backend architecture skills in Java and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in full-stack architecture using TypeScript, React, and Angular.
• Deep understanding of API design, contract management, and integration strategies.
• Ability to define and enforce architectural governance and standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
