Lead the architectural direction for complex, distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex, distributed systems in production environments.
• Deliver highly available, mission-critical services.
• Produce architectural artifacts including system diagrams, technical documentation, and design decision records.
• Apply and critically assess software design patterns and system design principles.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with full-stack application development using GraphQL and Postgres.
• 5+ years of experience building cross-functional and broadly scoped platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Thorough knowledge of event-driven systems and graph databases (Kinesis, Neo4J).
• 7+ years of experience with high-test coverage delivery using unit- and front-end-test frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale data libraries (Druid, DataBricks, Snowflake).

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with in-house LLM infrastructure and software/openAI tools.
