Define the technical direction and implementation strategy for complex, distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex, distributed systems for mission-critical services.
• Produce architectural artifacts, including system diagrams, technical documentation, and design decision records.
• Apply and critically assess software design patterns and system design principles.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to drive design consensus.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with full-stack application development (GraphQL, Postgres Database).
• 7+ years of experience with high-test coverage delivery using unit- and front-end-test frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience building cross-functional and broadly scoped platforms.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Thorough knowledge of graph databases (Neo4J).
• Strong expertise in governance systems; Datahub experience is highly desired.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience designing and building internet-scale platforms with high availability.
