Description

Lead the development of next-generation computing technologies and optimize performance for AMD's architecture specialists.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new technologies for next-generation computing experiences using C++ and large design pattern-based codebases.
• Apply data-driven approaches to target optimization efforts for key applications and benchmarks.
• Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring-ups with cross-functional teams.
• Drive sophisticated technical issues to resolution using effective communication and leadership skills.
• Collaborate with different teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and stay informed of software and hardware trends.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong C++ background.
• Experience with EDA tools, Linux, and Python.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning, GenAI, LLM, and Regression Models.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and quality assurance practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with agentic models, concurrent programming, and threading APIs.
• Familiarity with debuggers, source code control systems like GitHub, and profilers.
