Description

Lead the design and implementation of software solutions for the STK Platform team, supporting existing products and next-generation development.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain clean, reliable code throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Participate in product-level planning, architecture, and research.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, performing complex verification and release testing.
• Mentor team members through technical reviews and act as a technical reference.
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop solutions for identified issues.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in C++ and either C# or Python for commercial applications.
• Expertise in object-oriented design, functional programming, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency with software configuration management tools such as Git or Perforce.
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering with 8 years of experience, MS with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Proven ability to deliver efficient, readable code and manage requirements from design through deployment.
• Strong debugging and technical leadership capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API development, software architecture, and modeling or simulation software.
• Development experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like NUnit and containerization tools like Docker.
