Description

Lead architectural design and development of scalable e-commerce platforms using Shopify Plus and headless approaches.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Architect and develop modular e-commerce solutions on Shopify Plus using custom themes and headless storefronts.
• Design and implement solutions using microservices, API-first, cloud-native, and headless approaches.
• Oversee the integration of third-party services like CMS, PIM, ERP, and CRM.
• Ensure systems meet security, performance, and industry compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a lead role.
• Expertise with Shopify Plus, Liquid, Storefront API, and Shopify Hydrogen or custom headless frontends.
• Hands-on experience with MACH technologies, including Microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce performance optimization and scalability.
• Familiarity with integrating with Product, UX/UI, Marketing, and Operations systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with PIM and ERP integrations.
