Good to Have Skills: Experience with Linux multimedia frameworks like V4L2 and DRM. Exposure to ISP (Image Signal Processor) stack and Image Sensor driver development for automotive segment. RTOS and driver development knowledge. Development of multimedia IP drivers like HDMI, SDI, MIPI and VCU. Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with AMD's architecture specialists to improve future products and hardware technologies.
• Apply a data minded approach to target optimization efforts for key applications and benchmarks.
• Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture.
• Design and develop new groundbreaking AMD technologies for multimedia and graphics applications.
• Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring ups for next-generation computing experiences.
• Debug and fix existing issues while researching alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish work.
• Develop technical relationships with peers and partners across different teams within AMD.

Experience Required: 7-12 years of experience in software development with strong leadership skills and ability to drive sophisticated issues to resolution.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
