Description

Lead technical design, implementation, and testing of complex server-side brokerage applications and platform initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team to design, build, and ship highly reliable, scalable, and extensible global products.
• Draft and review architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and design documents to balance resource constraints and complexity.
• Present cost/benefit analyses and architectural strategies to leadership to resolve significant product pain points.
• Mentor backend engineers and evangelize best practices, standards, and solutions across the organization.
• Collaborate with product management to drive requirement gathering, technical solutioning, and iterative development.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in either Golang or Java/J2EE, Python, and C++.
• Expert knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and OOD/SOA principles.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and continuous integration/deployment architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL for Sybase/Oracle or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux environments, including Perl and shell scripts (ksh).
• Understanding of Web Services protocols (REST, SOAP, IDL, gRPC) and API design.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud technologies, service mesh, and containers.
• Experience with SCRUM, Agile, and iterative development approaches.
• Familiarity with batch processing and C/C++ development.
