Description

Lead Android development initiatives, owning the full lifecycle from system design to production stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement modern UI architectures and leverage Jetpack Compose for native interfaces.
• Execute system design sessions, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting for complex issues.
• Drive CI/CD integration and cloud-native practices to automate delivery pipelines.
• Evaluate external vendor solutions and lead architectural design assessments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, including coroutines.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android SDKs.
• Strong background in system design and application architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development practices.
• Ability to debug and optimize application performance and stability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation and continuous delivery methods.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems.
