Description

Lead the development of full-stack medical device software for portable ultrasound systems, focusing on clinical documentation and device interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack software, translating clinical measurement methods into technical requirements.
• Lead technical execution within Agile processes, managing schedules, deliverables, and design reviews.
• Integrate software deliverables within larger systems to ensure interoperability with distributed clinical workflows.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure high-quality medical device software.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Java and proficiency in Kotlin.
• In-depth knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns including MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Proficiency with Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Bitrise.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and general software design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing and modern test frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated experience working in a regulated environment following a strict SDLC.
• Familiarity with performance profiling tools like Android Profiler.
