Description

You will lead the migration of the Loan Origination system from mainframe COBOL to a microservice architecture on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Loan Origination functionality from mainframe COBOL to AWS microservices.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Ensure seamless cross-team communication throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Own the deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for backend development.
• Strong experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrated ability to build and own CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with mainframe COBOL migration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and DynamoDB.
