Description

Lead the design, development, and operational stability of Java and Kotlin-based systems. You will own the release pipeline, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, high-quality production code using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
• Define system architecture and lead technical troubleshooting for complex application issues.
• Automate recurring operational issues to improve application stability and efficiency.
• Lead vendor evaluation sessions and drive outcomes-oriented architectural reviews.
• Guide communities of practice to adopt new technologies and improve engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of applied experience in software engineering with formal training.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin development.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot framework.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native application design and resiliency patterns.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or mobile technologies.
• Background in financial services industry.
