Description

Lead ABAP development and custom code remediation for S/4HANA upgrades.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support ABAP custom programs, function groups, and classes.
• Execute custom code remediation for Unicode, HANA, and S/4HANA upgrades.
• Manage custom code during upgrades and EHP processes, including SPAU and SPDD.
• Perform code reviews and provide quality assurance feedback to R&D.
• Manage the development life cycle, including transports and testing across environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of total IT industry experience.
• Extensive experience developing ABAP Programs, Function Groups, Classes, and Data Dictionary.
• Proficiency in writing code using the latest SAP ABAP syntax and SAP best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Code Inspector, Extended Program Check, and ATC.
• Practical knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP products.
• Experience with custom code management in upgrades and EHP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence client stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing transports and testing across development and project environments.
