Description

Lead the design, development, testing, and documentation of software products while providing technical mentorship to the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document complex software projects.
• Perform configuration and code customizations within existing software products.
• Expand existing software capabilities and create new applications to meet industry requirements.
• Mentor and train software engineering team members on best practices and technical standards.
• Travel to sites (approximately 30%) during commissioning phases to oversee integration and site acceptance testing.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of software development or programming experience.
• Expertise in C and C++ programming, including multi-threaded application development.
• Deep understanding of interprocess communications and thread synchronization.
• Proficiency in database design and programming using Microsoft SQL or Oracle.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST) and Socket Programming.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and network configuration.
• Experience with version control systems GitLab and Subversion.
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industrial automation.
