Description

Lead data architecture and engineering efforts for high-volume insurance and demographic datasets. Own the full lifecycle of database design, optimization, and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design database schemas to support new enhancement requirements.
• Optimize database performance through horizontal scaling, partitioning, replication, and sharding.
• Develop ETL strategies to integrate and migrate data from multiple sources.
• Build and maintain stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Guide the development team on best practices for database design and usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python or Microsoft .NET for data extraction and automation.
• Experience writing APIs using Python or similar languages.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools for job scheduling.
• Experience with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with database modelling and data warehousing.
