Description

Lead the design, architecture, and execution of a scalable Data Lake platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical thought leadership by evaluating technologies against business requirements and cost drivers.
• Design and deliver a comprehensive data lake platform while maintaining the overall solution architecture.
• Enforce technical best practices for Big Data management, including software selection and implementation processes.
• Drive data quality throughout ETL and data pipelines to improve management, storage, and security.
• Ensure all platform components and functional solutions meet established SLAs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development and building scalable distributed data processing solutions.
• 6+ years of experience in database design and development.
• 4+ years of experience with Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Hadoop, Apache Hive, Snowflake, Jupyter notebook, and Databricks.
• 4+ years of experience with PostgreSQL (9+), Oracle (11g+), or AWS RDS.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, AWS Glue, and Lambda.
• Proven experience building data pipelines and ETL jobs using cloud-native technologies and design patterns.
• Experience designing resilient systems and creating disaster recovery plans.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), designing CMSes, or evaluating third-party CMS products.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments using Continuous Delivery best practices.
