Description

You will lead the design and end-to-end delivery of complex, distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design microservice architecture and build services using REST APIs.
• Drive project delivery by gathering requirements, designing solutions, and breaking down work with product and engineering teams.
• Address non-functional requirements including scaling, monitoring, load testing, and code quality.
• Articulate system designs, technical trade-offs, and decisions clearly to technical audiences.
• Coordinate initiatives and collaborate with offshore teams when bandwidth permits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing large distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, or experience with Java or .NET for building distributed microservices.
• Experience with distributed messaging systems, specifically Kafka.
• Experience designing and building services using REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Gen AI and Agentic AI concepts.
• Strong ability to solve medium-complexity coding problems.
