Description

Lead complex cloud technology initiatives and drive the automation of GCP infrastructure orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, optimization, and documentation of engineering aspects for the cloud platform.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop engineering standards and best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based systems.
• Diagnose root causes of cloud issues and implement timely technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Professional Cloud certification on GCP.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and GitHub.
• Deep understanding of GCP networking services including VPC, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud Load Balancing.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and compliance standards.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools for network provisioning.
• Proven track record of building complex infrastructure programmatically via IaC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure build-outs in GCP or Azure.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principles.
