Description

Lead the design, development, and delivery of data-driven applications. You will own the end-to-end release process, mentor peers, and interface with customers to clarify requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test code in accordance with engineering standards and design specifications.
• Contribute to high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD), architecture, and data modeling.
• Manage module delivery, user stories, and the release process.
• Perform defect root cause analysis (RCA) and implement proactive quality mitigation measures.
• Mentor team members, set technical goals, and conduct code reviews for peers and juniors.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Hive.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with data movement and orchestration tools including Sqoop, Oozie, and Presto.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to break down complex problems into logical components and technical design patterns.
• Strong capability in effort estimation and project timeline management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
