Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications and data pipelines on AWS. You will own the release pipeline, automate infrastructure, and ensure operational stability through rigorous monitoring and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AWS applications using Python, Java, and PySpark.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows and streaming pipelines with Airflow, Spark, and Databricks.
• Implement security, compliance, and monitoring solutions including IAM policies and encryption.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and drive adoption of engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and Java.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, IAM).
• Strong background in BigData technologies, including Spark, PySpark, and Databricks.
• Experience building ETL pipelines and data workflows using Airflow.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and cloud-native development.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, or Developer).
• Experience with GenAI tools like Copilot or Claude, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CDK).
• Knowledge of Snowflake, data modeling, and financial industry security controls.
