Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices, leading technical troubleshooting and architectural outcomes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develop secure high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive architectural outcomes.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering with formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring framework.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Cassandra.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS cloud services experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, AWS Glue, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of application resiliency, security, and financial services domain.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
