Description

You will act as a technical expert and backend modernization engineer within an agile squad, owning the release pipeline and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive architecture for solutions across multiple services and applications.
• Define Domain-Driven Design for the enterprise and deliver APIs and real-time data streams.
• Develop code and Infrastructure as Code (IaaS) in AWS using Terraform.
• Lead communities of practice to refine software development standards and mentor peers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Expertise in Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST API development.
• Proficiency in containerization and Git/GitHub.
• Strong experience with Unit Testing using JUnit.
• Working knowledge of software development best practices and security standards.
• Experience developing on OSX.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Elastic Container Service (ECS), and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD, and Hashicorp Vault.
• Background in 12-factor applications and Node/ExpressJs microservices.
