Description

Lead the design, development, and integration of complex software solutions using Node.js and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of the development team through mentorship and guidance.
• Design and develop microservices, service-based architectures, and RESTful APIs.
• Apply test automation techniques using TDD with Jest and Mockito.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Contribute to cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases including SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Expertise in containerization using Docker and Linux hosting.
• Knowledge of secure coding and protocols such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum environments.
• Strong skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work onsite in Johnston, IA.
