Description

You will lead the development and maintenance of market data systems using the KDB technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Write Q code and develop applications for market data systems using KDB.
• Perform core development and delivery of KDB-based systems, including framework development.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and conduct thorough code reviews and debugging.
• Develop scalable real-time processing solutions for trading applications using Agile methodology.
• Analyze and implement solutions for business enhancement requests in collaboration with global peers.
• Plan, test, and automate regular production releases to maintain system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
• Professional experience using KDB technology and Q Language.
• Experience in end-to-end development within the financial sector.
• Knowledge of KDB+ tick design and data organization with performance implications.
• Demonstrated ability managing real-time applications for high-stakes financial operations.
• Experience with Data Analytics and Agile Methodology.
• Familiarity with Python and Java.
