Description

You will own the design and implementation of GraphQL APIs and integration architectures connecting COTS platforms with internal systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs for efficient data exchange between external platforms and internal systems.
• Architect scalable integration solutions, including middleware, data pipelines, and system-to-system connectivity.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, and synchronization while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Mentor engineers on integration patterns, GraphQL best practices, and technical decisions for the technology stack.
• Collaborate with COTS vendors on API specifications, integration requirements, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on enterprise system integration.
• Strong expertise in GraphQL, including schema design, query optimization, resolver implementation, and federation patterns.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, RDS) and containerization (Docker).
• Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases, as well as MongoDB and DocumentDB.
• Proficiency in REST APIs and authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML).
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, DevOps principles, and API gateway technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL federation and federated architecture implementations.
• Background integrating case management, analytics, or enterprise software platforms.
