Description

You will own the full lifecycle of software development for networking solutions, including architecture, design, and maintenance of Layer 3 routing protocols.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop Layer 3 routing protocols and features using C, C++, and Python.
• Author test plans and build automated testing infrastructure for new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues by collaborating with support engineers and customers.
• Provide technical leadership across features, projects, and tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers within the software development environment.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of C or C++.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Software development experience on Linux.
• Knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, IS-IS, LDP, OSPF, PIM, RSVP, EVPN.
• Ability to design and implement features independently.
• Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with requirements from customers and product managers.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
