Description

You will own the architecture and delivery of backend services on GCP that broker and orchestrate API integrations for vehicle features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, scalable APIs and event-driven flows (REST/gRPC, webhooks, Pub/Sub) with rate limiting, retries, and circuit breakers.
• Define authentication and authorization for partner integrations (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, JWT) and manage secrets and key rotation.
• Establish SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting; drive SRE best practices and on-call readiness.
• Lead CI/CD and infrastructure as code; standardize build, deploy, and release processes while mentoring engineers.
• Integrate services with enterprise cloud environments, identity, and networking tooling to establish secure connectivity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and operating services on Google Cloud (GCP).
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python.
• Solid understanding of REST/gRPC, asynchronous messaging, and API-first design.
• Experience with API management and partner ecosystems (Apigee/API Gateway, developer portals).
• Proven experience building scalable, highly available systems and operating them in production.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
