Description

You will lead the migration and modernization of customer legacy applications to MongoDB.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions to migrate legacy applications within small Agile teams.
• Analyze current legacy application states and design target architectures to meet customer requirements.
• Execute migration projects using established playbooks and innovate solutions for technical gaps.
• Participate in sprint grooming, planning, and showcases, providing technical suggestions.
• Research and integrate GenAI advancements to support project evolution and migration goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Extensive experience building applications interacting with relational databases using SQL.
• Experience with Enterprise Java architectures (J2EE, JavaEE, or Spring).
• Proven track record of delivering applications using Agile methodologies and test-first development.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using Git version control.
• Ability to adapt to changing project directions based on customer or account team priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of microservices architectures and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience using ORMs such as Hibernate or JPA.
