Description

You own the stability and availability of production systems supporting Markets trading desks across Equities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for critical production issues.
• Define and enforce SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to measure and improve system reliability.
• Manage and optimize batch processing, real-time data flows, and dependencies for market data delivery.
• Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring to prevent service degradation.
• Design and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for real-time system visibility.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Production Management, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering within financial services.
• 5+ years applied experience with software engineering concepts.
• Expert proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience managing MySQL, including query tuning and replication.
• Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Geneos and Splunk.
• Knowledge of Kafka for messaging systems.
