Description

You will design, develop, and maintain secure, cloud-native Python applications while leading architectural decisions and engineering best practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end application development, system design, and technical troubleshooting using Python and object-oriented programming.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to drive outcome-oriented architectural designs.
• Deliver system design, testing, and operational stability solutions within an agile framework.
• Review and debug code written by others, ensuring high production quality and security standards.
• Lead communities of practice to promote new technologies and automation strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering, system design, and application development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Object Oriented Programming.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Native architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to implement Agile Methodologies and manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven track record of solving complex problems and eliminating recurring operational issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Data Source, SecDB, Athena, or Quartz platforms.
• Knowledge of macro trading business, financial services IT systems, or AI/ML applications.
