You will lead technical projects and mentor team members while driving data engineering initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train team members, providing technical guidance and feedback on complex matters.
• Lead specialized technical projects by determining scope, developing time estimates, and managing impacts.
• Design and execute test plans to validate application functions and ensure architectural alignment.
• Evaluate and improve data engineering systems, processes, and applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and align technologies with business requirements.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree (or 10+ years with High School Diploma/GED).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and dbt.
• Experience working with Netezza, Collibra, or Oracle platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data platform design, and data warehousing principles.
• Expertise in data lake and data platform architectures.
• Proven ability to manage the end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in data movement and consumption including ETL and ELT processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial services data integrations.
• Knowledge of Data Vault modeling.
