Description

You will design, develop, and scale web applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, while managing AWS Serverless infrastructure and mentoring the engineering team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable front-end and back-end systems using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build and maintain AWS Serverless infrastructure including Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
• Define technical requirements, lead architectural decisions, and enforce code quality through reviews and automation.
• Develop APIs, middleware (auth, caching, feature flags), and manage database schemas with Liquibase.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with deep expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of React (TSX), state management, and component-driven UI design.
• Experience with Vite, Vitest, Playwright, and workspace configurations.
• Proven record designing serverless backends on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront).
• Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code using Pulumi with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization standards including SSO, SAML, and OAuth.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) and automated testing.

Preferred Skills

• Comfortable collaborating with design teams using Figma and applying UX/HCI principles.
• Experience with DynamoDB and relational databases.
