Description

Lead the modernization of legacy applications by migrating them to MongoDB using Java and GenAI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop software-based solutions to migrate and modernize customer legacy applications to MongoDB.
• Contribute to the planning, design, and technical solutioning required to move applications from source to target states.
• Research and integrate GenAI advancements to support migration projects.
• Follow established migration playbooks while innovating to solve project-specific technical challenges.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint grooming, planning, and showcases.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Enterprise Java architectures (J2EE, JavaEE, or Spring).
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Strong experience building applications that interact with relational databases using SQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of GenAI advancements and their application to migration projects.
• Experience delivering applications using Agile methodologies and test-first development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architectures and Domain-Driven Design.
• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript/Node.js.
• Experience with ORMs such as Hibernate or JPA.
